With Seattle City Light I have designed communication systems that allow metering devices located at the hydroelectric power plants to be viewed from the main office buildings located hundreds of miles away. The communications equipment also permits the engineers to control the flow of water through the dam.As a student and hobbyist I have developed multiple robotic systems. The most advanced robot was a complete duplication of a human arm and hand. It had 11 axis of movement (5 fingers, wrist, elbow, and a 3-axis shoulder). The arm was controlled remotely by a controller that strapped onto the users arm allowing him to move his arm freely and have the robot copy his movements in near real time.Specialties: robotics, automation, programming
