As behavioral biologist, I’ve developed a strong interest in neuroscience, brain stimulation and statistical analysis. During my thesis, I first was focused on the identity attribution of faces, and the interaction between this ability and mental rotation.I then studied the interplay between the visual and the motor cortex using transcranial magnetic stimulation. We discovered strong effects of inhibition of the visual cortex on the motor one I enjoy working on innovative projects aiming for clinical application, in collaboration with teams covering different fields of expertise. I’m also keen on getting involved in science vulgarization and students’ supervision.I have a passion for understanding the mechanisms involved in acquiring skills, for the complexity of neural networks and for evolutionary processes involved in those complex networks.Despite my interest for the brain, my biology background let me with a fascination for living things in general, from the bacteria involved in fermentation, to the color of the feathers of the t-rex.
