(2020 - Present): Lab demonstrator for ENSC3006: Chemical Process Thermodynamics and ENSC3019: Unit Operations.Developed (in collaboration with Unit Coordinator) new laboratories and accompanying assignments for students in a unit that previously had no practical labs, tailored for the special circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic using video recordings of experimental setups and procedures, real experimental data, and detailed supporting documentation.The ENSC3019 labs also contain AspenHYSYS simulation exercises designed to challenge and grow students' understanding of key unit operations and their application in a wider practical context.(2019) Tutor for CHPR5521: Flow Assurance and Gathering, CHPR5522: Treating and LNG Production, and GENG4402: Control Engineering

As a research assistant at The University of Western Australia under the Centre for Long Subsea Tiebacks, I collated literature hydrate phase equilibrium data to analyse error trends in current industry-standard predictive software packages.Key achievements:- Developed a hydrate database tool using VBA in Excel containing over 10,000 hydrate equilibrium data points from literature- Analysed error trends from MultiFlash and CSMGem hydrate models to quantify and improve safety margins deployed in thermodynamic hydrate inhibition strategies

UWA Young Engineers is the student chapter of Engineers Australia and our mission is to aid in the professional development of all our club members. I joined in 2017 as part of the Digital and Project Teams.

Teaching and assisting students with core course concepts, helping them develop critical analysis and problem-solving skills required for success in WACE mathematics and physical science courses. Also teaching primary school and lower secondary school students core mathematics principles.

- Researched and developed a holistic understanding of maintenance strategies, in particular use of predictive maintenance in conjunction with condition monitoring and other maintenance strategies.- Collected and categorised examples of common failure modes in equipment and common condition monitoring techniques used in the context of electric motors.- Researched the use of wireless technologies, namely sensors, and compiled information about their respective costs, availability, benefits, and drawbacks in condition monitoring applications.- Submitted a short report (6000 words) and gave a presentation summarising key findings and lessons learned during the placement

- Assisted in a research project team focusing on optimising graphene production from the catalytic cracking of methane as part of the Bachelor of Philosophy Degree requirements.- Reviewed and updated safety documents of the working laboratories.- Assisted a Master's student in carrying out experimental trials in the lab.
