I shaped the German telecoms and Fiber to the home market (FTTH) over the past 25+ years with inexio and Deutsche Glasfaser where I stepped down as CEO in 2021 and serve now as a member of the advisory board. Deutsche Glasfaser is one of the largest FTTH providers in Germany. I am also the CEO of inexogy (formerly Discovergy), a leading German smart metering company. I have bundled all my investment activities in my family office Kalodion group where I serve as the CEO too.I have over 30 years of experience in building, running, managing and scaling companies, especially in the telecoms, IT and energy sectors. My focus lies on new business development, strategy, and strategic financing (Equity and debt) as well as product development and management.I am passionate about driving digital transformation, innovation, process optimization as well as entrepreneurship in conjunction with value-driven, human, leadership.With the help of my team, I have successfully launched and scaled several companies over the last 33 years. One of them, inexio, became a unicorn in 2019. And working on the next one…Last but not least I am taking responsibility in volunteering to give back to society, especially by representing the telecoms industry within the VATM (Telecoms industry association of Germany) where I serve as president and Die Familienunternehmer, the forum for family and owner entrepreneurs, where I advocate for a competitive and social market economy. I am always looking for new opportunities and challenges to leverage my skills and expertise, and to contribute to the growth and success of the telecoms and energy sector as well as entrepreneurship and private equity/venture capital in Germany and beyond.
