I am a Resident Director at University of Hartford, where I create a positive and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Prior to making this career shift, I was the Student Life Coordinator at Waubonsee Community College. I eagerly utilize my skills of leadership, creativity, and servant leadership, to craft programs that encourage professional development, civic engagement, and collaboration. I have a Master's degree in Leadership and Higher Ed. and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies from North Central College, where I also gained valuable experience as an Area Hall Director and a Graduate Assistant for First-Generation Programs. I developed my skills in mentoring, presenting, training, and outreach, and contributed to enhancing the student retention rate, Title IX awareness, and the resident assistant development. I am easily adaptable, a team player, and a lifelong learner who is passionate about growing and improving as a student life leader.
