Control Room Officer
CurrentSecurity officers are responsible for providing excellent guest service including, but not limited to, ensuring the safety of employees and guests and patrolling the property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.Currently my role with the Security Team at Aria is Lead Dispatcher in Security Surveillance. I'm responsible for making sure that all 4 of my Dispatchers are knowledgeable in all four positions which are Main Dispatch, Tower Dispatch, Surveillance 1, and Surveillance 2. Furthermore, I’m responsible for creating all Incident Reports as well as saving video coverage as requested by Risk Management. In addition to my duties as the Lead Dispatcher I assist Gaming Surveillance with tracking all non-gaming cameras and assist trespassing patrons and vagrants that are no longer allowed to be on any MGM property. I also assist the Management Team by keeping them informed with what's going on with security personnel and of any issues on the property. My main responsibility as the Lead Dispatcher is keeping our guests, executives, employees, vendors, and property safe and minimize Incidents that occur on property. Patrol and monitor all areas of the property.Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees.Act as a First-Responder in emergency situations.Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.Resolve complaints/issues involving both guests and employees.Respond to emergencies as needed.Perform all other job related duties as requested.Perform Mobile Vehicle Operations involving Aria and MGM.Perform report writing in response to guest accidents, complaints, and incidents.
