Manufacturing Engineer at OPTISYS and leading our integrated team to design the most manufacturable RF assemblies in the world through additive. As metal 3d printing is an ever growing technology, I am able to learn new skills and collaborate on exciting projects that allow the world to communicate like never before. Previous to OPTISYS, I worked as a Fabrication Process Engineer for Samsung Electronics - Prismview LED. I supported the build, fabrication and process flow of structures that house large LED Displays. These complex, high definition displays are used in sports stadiums and arenas, billboards, and also smaller displays for stores and restaurants. Previous to Samsung, I worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer for the Fabrication Division of The Boeing Company in the Advanced Metal Structures (AMS) business unit. I worked closely with cross-functional teams to produce complex structure titanium parts and assemblies for the aircraft. Being a Process Engineer allows me to have experience in every aspect of the process flow and product build life.Process knowledge and experience include: Hard metals forming (super plastic forming, hot drape forming, etc), defect correction, tolerance development, process improvement, research and development, and project management.Graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho in July 2015 in Mechanical Engineering and an Emphasis in Manufacturing. Interned at The Boeing Company working with composites prior to graduation, and then accepted an offer at Boeing in titanium for full time employment. I left Boeing in November 2018 to work for Samsung in Logan, Utah. My work history consists of Composite Material Defect Correction at Boeing, Custom Home Renovation, General Construction, Finish Carpentry, and Maintenance of Commercial Properties. I'm an avid outdoorsman, archery hunter, fisherman, and automotive gear head.
