I am an experienced GP, with a track record of having been a partner for over 21 years. I have enjoyed both the privileges and challenges of general practice and working within the multidisciplinary team environment. I strongly believe in high quality patient-centered care and remain passionately dedicated in contributing towards processes that make healthcare better.My previous experience as a GP partner included that of Prescribing Lead at our practice. This entailed overseeing the prescribing budget, running of our dispensary, fulfillment of all CCG Medicines Management Audits, Medicines Management Quality Improvement work, and the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme.My training and experience throughout my long General Practice career has allowed me to identify and develop my clinical interests in gynaecology and sexual & reproductive healthcare. As a result of this, I led the Contraceptive Services for the practice, and provided a comprehensive contraceptive service for our patient population. This included provision of a coil and implant fitting service.

As a result of this, I am the lead clinician at the practice who provides a comprehensive contraceptive service for our patient population. As mentioned earlier, this includes provision of a coil and implant fitting service, and I provide a Locally Enhanced Service for implant fitting in our locality.I also have the role of Prescribing Lead at our practice. This entails overseeing the prescribing budget, running of our dispensary, and fulfillment of all prescribing Quality Outcomes Framework projects, and the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme.
