Current- Led vendor bake-offs, negotiated with vendors( including Microsoft) and contractors in terms of pricing, resourcing, communication etc. to finalize the best proposal.-Managed and architected migration of on-prem Exchange to Microsoft Office 365 Cloudinfrastructure in Azure active directory. -Led Projects for Deploying Microsoft Remote desktop serverfor remote users to access SQL application, Testing VMware VDI solution whichinvolves setting up connection servers, composer server, Replica servers, Identitymanager and enrollment server, access point server, Deploying desktop pools andpublished applications hosted on RSDH Using Linked clones, full clones and Instantclones.- Managing Windows RDP Server farm, Citrix XenApp Servers and SQL basedpublished application.- Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure for 500 users spread across USA,Puerto Rico, Costa Rico and Panama. It involves setting up multi-location datacenter servers and equipment to insure efficient and effective usage.Install server hardware-software including VMWare Esxi hosts and Windows-Linuxguest machines, Cisco VPN tunnels, Active directory, Exchange severs, SQL serversand web servers. Hands on experience with Cisco routers, Asa and FirepowerFirewalls, Cisco switches and Vlans. Managing EMC Unisphere, Dell and Netgear SANdevices.- Troubleshot Dell server hardware, storage issues, updates Dell platform usingLifecycle and IDRAC. Troubleshot desktop applications, security issues, Virus andspam issues. Deal with Tech support issues with Barracuda backup, spam filter,message archiver, web filer.- Upgrade and update serves and desktop operating systems, applications, browsers,firmware on various devices. Rollout OS and application patches using desktopauthority scripts.- Setup a disaster recovery plan based on Double take and Dhruva cloudplatform. Also managing tape backup and disk backup solutions.
