I am a multidisciplinary creative professional with a rich background in theatre, writing, and social advocacy. My journey has been fuelled by a deep commitment to storytelling and creative collaboration, and a passion for amplifying important social issues through various forms of media.I am the co-writer of the Untapped Award-winning Blanket Ban, a play that explores the abortion ban in Malta. The play premiered at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe in 2022 and was later performed at Southwark Playhouse in 2023. Blanket Ban was published by Methuen Drama and became an Offie Award finalist, marking a significant milestone in my career as a writer and advocate.In addition to my work in traditional theatre, I have extensive experience performing in immersive theatre in London, and have attended workshops with industry leaders such as Punchdrunk, Complicité, Clean Break, Tangled Feet, and Coney. These experiences have honed my ability to engage audiences in unique and impactful ways.My commitment to social change extends beyond the stage. I have supported Abortion rights, the UK's national reproductive rights campaign, and have dedicated time to teaching writing workshops within the community, empowering others to find their voice and tell their stories.As a published poet, fiction, and creative non-fiction writer, my work spans various genres and forms, reflecting my deep love for language and expression.I hold a BA(Hons) in English, an M.Sc. in Applied Digital Media, and an MA in Acting, providing me with a solid academic foundation that complements my practical experience. My diverse training has equipped me with a unique skill set that I continuously leverage in my creative endeavours.I am passionate about continuing to create work that challenges, inspires, and drives change.
