About Davin Ward
Senior Lecturer and Course Leader of the BSc (Hons) Computer Games Programming course at Staffordshire University which enrols around 150 students at any given time. In this role I use my core organisation, problem solving and people skills to use to maintain the quality and consistency of the degree which is hosted in one of the biggest games education departments in the world. In addition to this, I am also the Graduate Opportunities Lead for the Games Development Department where I devise, organise and execute key events throughout the year to ensure successful employment for graduating and placement students. In the past I have run my own small game studio where I successfully negotiated contract work, released game ready assets and showcased work at game expos around the UK. In my spare time you will probably find me with my two dogs practicing agility or learning new tricks.
