I primarily designed sub-sea air-handling equipment for underwater air storage of CAES for and supported the successful deployed the largest underwater air storage system for CAES. This required meticulous planning, close coordination between crews on several vessels, divers, and ROVs. I also created modelling tools for CAES that reduced project sizing and performance estimating from 40 to 4 hours. These were corroborated with an existing facility and formed the foundation to quantify and improve ACAES’s key performance characteristics.
