As the flight dynamics sub-team lead for Clemson's Rocket Engineering team, I was responsible for creating a flight simulator software to predict the flight of a COTS motor, high powered rocket to efficiently meet a design apogee. Out team researched several methods of predicting rocket flight and created two software packages to predict flight trajectory, CP location, and fin flutter ratio. As the Vice President, I was responsible for day-to-day operations of the team as a whole. I ensured that all sub-teams worked cooperatively to ensure that all flight critical deadlines were promptly met and the project schedule was always maintained. I was also responsible for University relations and working with the Mechanical Engineering department to ensure the team received proper and necessary assistance from the University.

As a Co-op at Bosch, I work as a manufacturing engineer (MFE) to find creative and efficient ways to improve manufacturing processes to reduce losses and cycle time. I have worked with pneumatic cylinder systems, PLC's, and automated processes. I have also gotten experience coding with visual basic, machining parts in the shop, analyzing and testing failed parts and finding trends in scrap data to identify areas of improvement.

As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, my main objective was to develop an implicit, functionally driven slicer algorithm for additive manufacturing processes. After the completion of the software, I printed and mechanically tested dog bone specimens with varying infill patterns and compared resulting mechanical properties. This work has been published in the Virtual and Physical Prototyping scientific journal (link below) and presented at 2 conferences.

Communicated effectively with children and their parents, organized and planned activities for 80 kids aged 3-12, delegated tasks and activities for counselors, and acquired time management skills by working in a fast-paced environment.
