I served at Pine Cove Ridge as the Work Crew Director. I led a team of roughly 20 college students that handled food service for 250 people, maintenance of camp, programmatic facilitation of camp activities, and overall facilitation of the operations side of youth camp. I was in charge of leading and discipling this group of college students. I also served in a maintenance role around camp as well. I fixed things like AC units, Water Heaters, Toilets, and any other issues that arose. I preached once a week to the camp as a whole (around 200 people)and our two week program (around 40 people). I learned valuable skills such as discipleship, youth camp leadership, preaching/teaching of God's word, personnel management, operations management, food service management, and maintenance/technical skills.

I was a Senior Counselor (Pine Cove Leadership Intern). This position required me to be in charge of a group of counselors as well as their campers. In total I was in charge of 50-65 people each week. I handled discipline for the counselors and the campers. I aided in the programmatic facilitation of camp as a whole. I also preached to our two week program several times throughout the summer. This position gave me valuable skills in leadership, confrontation, discipline, planning, preaching, and management of individuals.
