I am a fourth year student at the Academy of Art University. My BFA degree is in Animation and Visual Effects with a heavy focus on Compositing. As a Freshman, I was invited to join Studio X beginning Fall of my Sophomore year. I have acquired a great deal of real experience working with Studio X for nearly 4years.After my first Semester I was promoted to Lead and then to Associate VFX Supervisor within a year. I have been working directly under Catherine Tate for the past 3 years. This experience has given me a valuable introduction to the industry. While also working on my degree courses, I have been responsible for a large number of shots and projects. I am quick to complete projects efficiently and have learned to do so while supervising and supporting others. I have worked on over 15+ projects as a Compositor and supervisor. Getting to work with the amazing team at studio X has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I won't traded it for anything.Some feature films I have worked on as a Compositor and Supervisor include:“Gonzo Girl” by Patrica Arquette (premiered at Tiff) “Omni Loop” by Bernaldo Britto (premiered at SXSW streaming on Apple TV )“The fix” coming out soon by Kelsey Egan“A Desert”- coming to theater 2025. And “Devotee” by Richard Bosner- Completed. Also worked as the onsite VFX Supervisor during the first three days of filming and one day of Green Screen Shooting.Working as a PA/AC on film sets has also provided me with unique and continuing experiences in the industry. Successful quick work turnarounds have earned me the respect of my Professors and Peers. I was also awarded Compositor of the Year and MVA( Most Valuable Artist) in Spring 2023 during the Academy of Art University Yearly Art Presentation.I hope to continue and grow my career in cilm. I hope to one day build my own successful film company.
