Bike the US for MS is a nonprofit organization that includes volunteers that commit to both supporting and bike riding across the United States to raise awareness and funding for Multiple Sclerosis research. • Participated in the “Trans Am” tour which started in Yorktown, Virginia and ended in San Francisco, CA and the “Southern Tier” tour which started in San Diego, CA and ended in St. Augustine, FL. Both tours in combination raised $148.1k which was given to MS research clinics across the US.• Lead teams of 8-20+ bicyclist volunteers on both tours • Key holder to van and all cycling equipment• Lead the teams by driving the van and leading on the bike • Worked with other team leaders to coordinate duties and daily team focuses• Organized group accommodations with churches and businesses • Organized daily rest stops and helped navigate the team in unfamiliar areas • Networked and built relationships at treatment clinics, churches, and other organizational events across the tours. • Developed group skills and mechanics through relationships with team riders

While I was in school at Radford, I worked as a Cashier and Delivery Driver for a very busy location of Papa John's Pizza less than 5 minutes away from campus.

In this role, I was an Assistant Manager and Lifeguard at two different large neighborhoods in the Richmond area. I oversaw 10 employees, had the responsibility as a key holder, and maintained the safety and condition of the pool. I also assured that pool activities and events ran smoothly and those who attended remained safe.
