- Responsible for scheduled shifts at the front desk, where I would sign in new members, answer the telephone, forward calls or take detailed messages and take them to the appropriate person.- Assist in the nursery as needed working with guests’ and members’ children and take reservations for children’s activities and events.- Report any safety hazards, follow up if that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.- Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.- Keep work area neat, clean and orderly to include vacuuming and cleanliness of all machines as needed.- Give out towels and keys to members.- Maintain all logs and files.- Learn POS (computer) system; ring in all sales.- Fill and maintain water coolers with water and cups.- Perform any other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Fitness Director.- Maintain a current inventory of all equipment, crafts, games, etc.- Learn JONAS (computer sales) system.
