Passionate, experienced, and dedicated - these are the hallmarks of my 40+ year-long career in the field of surveying. I'm Davis Thresh, a Licensed Land Surveyor and the Principal Surveyor at BKF, where I lead our exceptional survey group. My journey with BKF started as a Technician 1 in the Walnut Creek office. Through hard work and commitment, I've been able to climb the ranks and contribute to various iconic projects in both the Bay Area and Southern California.I had the privilege of working on the BART Extension to SFO Airport, the Gerald Desmond Bridge in Long Beach, Santana Row in San Jose, and the Hwy 4 Widening Project in Contra Costa County. My area of specialization includes Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Construction Staking, and Plats and Legal Descriptions. I also bring Leica 3D Scanning capability to our projects.My passion for surveying began in high school and continues to grow each day. I see this profession as a living history, shaping the foundation for future generations to build upon. I ensure to share this perspective with my team daily, inspiring them to deliver projects with the highest degree of professionalism and client satisfaction.Furthermore, I am a strong believer in mentorship and invest significantly in training the next generation of surveyors. I strive to foster an environment where growth, fresh ideas, and novel approaches are welcomed and rewarded.
