As chief executive, I have overall responsibility and direction over the executive departments at the company. My work revolves around providing leadership in strategic and tactical planning. The office provides operational support for all functions dealing with trade, business development and product development. The office also coordinates other administrative functions such as investor relations, financial management, public relations and human resource.

KeNIC's mandate is to provide, support and secure a dotKE address for every Kenyan entity. The board steers the organization to meet this ambitious target in a stable, sustainable and secure way.

This committee spearheads the skills and values pillar of Kenya's Digital Economy strategy. It is part of the joint work by KEPSA's ICT Sector Board in making Kenya's digital economy a shining reality.The committee realizes that to build a thriving digital economy, the private sector must work closely with government, development partners and the general citizenry to enhance the skills needed for all people to participate in it.

The TWG is responsible for the development, adoption and review of all applicable standards for IT and education in Kenya. The scope covers all relevant national, regional and international standards.

Heading the National Basic and Intermediate Skills Team under the Digital Skills and Values pillar of the Digital Economy Blueprint Taskforce. The Digital Economy Blueprint was launched by H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta in Kigali, Rwanda, in May, 2019 as part of the Smart Africa Initiative. The strategy envisions digitally enabled citizens, thriving in a digitally enabled economy and society. The blueprint covers 5 pillars: Digital Government, Infrastructure, Digital Business, Digital Skills & Values, Entrepreneurship and Cross-Cutting Issues. The taskforce is domiciled in the National Communications Secretariat under the Ministry of Information and Communication.

Joined the Strathmore University team of business mentors in 2019 to guide, advise and coach businesses that undertake incubation programs at the university. This has been a learning journey and has helped expose me to many industries in the country. The university is committed to improving the business acumen of company executives, business leaders and heads of organizations. I provide coaching and mentorship curated from my unique experience running business in the African digital realm. Here, my mentees are encouraged to think globally while acting locally. We call this The Great Mix.

This position called for growth in the number of customers using our products as well as development of new products to bring to market. The position was heavy on marketing, sales, r&d and customer account management. An important part of this position also included technical understanding of customer-oriented solutions.
