Recent graduate from the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University with a concentration in Materials Science. Seven-time recipient of Dean's list honors from NCSU and a cumulative 3.67 GPA as well as a 3.73 GPA in the college of engineering. Involved with multiple organizations including Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Classroom Central, an organization focused on providing students with school supplies that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Experience in laboratory settings with thermal, electrical, and optical analysis which helped refine technical analysis and writing skills. Optical experience includes Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), microscopy, and chromatography. Mechanical and thermal testing of metals and polymers through impact testing, three point bend testing, and tensile testing among others.Professional experience in office related environments with ZAPATA Inc and Mercedes Benz Vans, learning manufacturing processes and logistics as well as quality control of products on the manufacturing line. Worked primarily in teams on projects with individual assignments also being assigned to maximize efficiency in the workplace.
