I worked on a new clubhouse at Common Grounds Golf Course, as well as an expansion project at IKEA in Centennial, CO. I was involved in a variety of tasks, such as the RFI and submittal process and editing the project schedule in Asta Powerproject. I also became familiar with the project software, Autodesk Build. I was involved in the OAC meetings, and reaching out to subcontractors for bids on various scopes of work.

As an intern, I used Bluebeam, Autocad, Procore, and Asta Powerproject to perform many of my daily tasks. I reviewed the plan sets and performed quantity takeoffs for different materials. I also gained experience communicating with subcontractors and asking them for bids for various scopes of work. I was involved in the submittal process and helped with other tasks such as developing site logistics plans and editing the project schedule.

I was involved in small framing and drywall tasks on a mixed use project in the Cannery District. I also worked on the Gibson Guitar factory project operating a scissor lift and pressure washing the steel beams during the framing phase.
