Steve Jobs ever said that "You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future."I choose biotechnology fields when I came back school to study Master's degree. It's not difficult to me whom independent developed a thermoplastic resin or found the root cause analysis of abnormal products, and solved it. But I never learned any biotech in the past. Thus, I joined summer experimental courses were hold by Department of Medical Biotechnology and Laboratory Science at Chang Gung University as a starting point. Then, I got 47 credits at various field’s courses such as material science, biomedical, natural products. Secondary semester, I even simultaneously worked in semiconductor fileds (CMP) and completed my Master thesis researches (Drug delivery). Because I found that could use the biotechnology from school to solve some problems in work. Both are possible connect, I think that I see Steve means. Attributed to let more dots to connect. I continued to study the PhD degree of National Tsing Hua University. One of the big challenge is that I choose a Polymer Composites Laboratory not a Bio-Lab. First, I often needed leave our Lab to work hard, and cooperated with the Department of Neurosurgery, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital during my graduate study period. My group students also did, too. However, I told myself that I will contribute to publish ten papers in SCI journals when I graduate from here. Until now, I have published nine research articles in SCI journals, and five poster or oral presentations at international and local conferences. Besides, I processed three Hospital Cooperation Projects. Eventually, I hope to get more challenge and become a successful scientist in the future.
