About Davis Abraham
Ever since I was a child I enjoyed creativity in presentations. It was fascinating to me how simple words can move us to take life-changing decisions. This motivated me to take a detour from my career track in 2014 and there are no regrets. For the past six years I have been working in the area of training and development aiming to enhance productivity, foster creativity and encourage collaboration.Though trained as an VLSI engineer from NIT Calicut, my heart has always been with students. Since 2014 I have worked closely with schools in understanding the needs and challenges of the 21st century classrooms. Based on research and inputs from schools, I have created scores of interactive, fun-filled and transformative workshops for students and teachers. The topics range from overcoming exam fears to choosing a career, from work-life balance to time management, from critical thinking to public speaking. I enjoy engaging an audience with creative presentations and a candid delivery style.From Aug 2015 to Jun 2019, I was based out of Bhubaneswar and worked as a freelance trainer with LifeSprings Education. Since August 2019, I am based out of Lucknow and lead the training team at ViGEO International Consulting, an educational training company. Over the past 6 years, I have spoken in person to over 10,000 students engaging them with real-life issues and solutions. I am also a School Partner Career Counselor with iDreamCareer and I connect with schools offering them cutting-edge technological intervention to help students identify and choose the right career path. After my M.Tech in 2014, I went on a year long 'Bharat-Darshan', a personal trip around India covering all the 29 states. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience as I saw my country at close quarters. I am convinced that this is a land like no other! With all her flaws my India is beautiful! It is my resolve to serve this nation by serving the younger generation. I choose to invest my time, abilities and resources in equipping, uplifting and guiding the next generation to achieve its true potential.
