Television Program Manager
Current• Broadcast Program Management – Manage all aspects of regular programming for on-air broadcast- Manage current/new acquisition of all content from over 70 programmers with 2,000 episodes- Lead team of full-time/part-time workers to accomplish broadcast management tasks- Manage workflow and communication of programs with Network Operations Center for broadcast regarding troubleshooting, quality control, and delivery- Coordinate and provide program footage/information for other departments when needed for promotion purposes, on-air hits, social media posts, news broadcasts and sales presentations- Maintain professional and cordial relationship with all programmers- Assist with new program acquisitions• Quality Control- Quality check and ensure each episode to be clean and error free; have proper elements and technical specifications for broadcast standards (audio, video, closed-captioning, file-based tech specs)- Make internal edits to programs where necessary (Adobe Premiere) regarding audio and video to ensure each program meets technical acceptance for broadcast • Broadcast Scheduling- Maintain daily/weekly schedule of program lineups for posting website and on-air guides (WideOrbit)- Populate weekly program lineup and monthly grids (WideOrbit)• Data Entry- Upkeep of master list of all programs regarding specific information for each program (main program title, episode title, episode #, synopsis, season, production year, etc.)• Video library maintenance- Maintain storage space in physical and file-based archive for multiple formats• Video Production- Assist with LIVE productions as needed (camera, set, floor managing, phone call-in)• Customer Service Assistance- Answer phones, mail packages
