For over 24 years, I have specialised in assisting business through insolvency and reconstruction, most recently working with SMEs (small and medium enterprises). I have developed deep insights into the challenges that a diverse range of businesses experience, particularly when facing the daunting prospect of insolvency.Having worked through the Australian recession of the early 1990s and seen the impact of business failure on management, staff, suppliers, contractors and the broader community, I have developed a real appreciation of the human side of insolvency. This motivates me to look harder to motivate my clients to take action that is good for their business, their personal financial survival and themselves outside that work environment.As a leader and an insolvency technician, it has always given me a great deal of pleasure to train and develop my clients and team to give something to their roles that is ‘beyond the nine to five’, and to instil a philosophy of giving something bigger to business.As someone who regularly competes in Ironman triathlons and the odd bit of blue-water sailing, I apply myself to whatever I do with commitment and dedication.
