I am a seasoned legal professional with over a decade of experience in sustainability, compliance, contracts, and supply chain. I currently serve as in-house counsel for a multinational energy services company, specializing in global sustainability reporting, compliance, and risk management, in addition to other corporate legal responsibilities. My global sustainability responsibilities involve serving as the legal leader for the sustainability risk area; building the sustainability reporting program according to our simplification, standardization, and industrialization philosophy; collaborating with business leaders to develop compliance strategies, training regimens, and policies and procedures; coordinating data collection, ownership, validation, assurance, and reporting at both the corporate level and at the local level in approximately 50 countries; and staying current on global regulatory developments and enforcement trends and advising accordingly.Prior to my current role, I served in roles covering human rights, anti-bribery and corruption, and contracts. My previous achievements include overseeing the development and execution of a best-in-class human rights program, serving on the Building Responsibly steering committee, and extensive sell- and buy-side contracts support, including leading critical negotiations, resolving disputes, managing a global contracts team, and developing a comprehensive supply chain contracting program. I’ve also played a pivotal role in special projects such as legal policy management, technology solutions implementation, cost reduction initiatives, and M&A activity.
