Managing the development, implementation, and evolution of the Los Angeles Digital Equity Action League, a regional consortium that seeks to address broadband access through a collaborative, community-driven process to assess and tackle the broadband gaps that exist in both urban and rural communities across the Los Angeles region; addressing broadband access in a systemic and equitable way through true community representation and a strong infrastructure of civic leaders representing business, education, nonprofits, and government, so that both unserved and underserved communities have equal access to affordable, reliable, and high-speed internet service, and the devices and training to optimize their use.

The Front Porch Center for Innovation & Wellbeing is a center of excellence within Front Porch established in 2008 to explore innovative uses of technology to empower individuals to live well, especially in their later years. Technology innovation has an important role to play in enhancing each individual’s ability to “live life my way” in the place he or she calls home. The Center's goal is to harness technology solutions that support and enhance wellbeing and help each of us thrive in mind, body and spirit.

Managed corporate program funder and program partner relations for a federal Broadband Technology Opportunities Program initiative with over a dozen community-based partners across four states; coordinated team site visits for youth leadership and technology workforce development programs, and solicited and secured public and private grants.

Established and founded organization's Community Technology Department; managing a department of 7 staff and over 20 volunteers; overseeing the implementation and integration of technology into the organization's programs and operations; developing financial and programmatic sustainability plan; researching and writing private foundation and government grants; promoting local, regional, and national policy and advocacy initiatives expanding the use of technology for underserved populations.

Developed, designed, and implemented a community-based technology center; targeted multiple generations and multiple communities living in the Little Tokyo and general Los Angeles areas; organized and coordinated collaborative efforts with other community technology center programs; organized fundraising events and authored grants; supervised and coordinated technical volunteer support; developed partnerships with local community groups, schools and other nonprofit agencies.

Inaugural member of a leadership training program for community technology directors and practitioners; promoted the development of statewide policy initiatives impacting community technology programs, developed strategic partnerships with public and private sector representatives; organized a team of fellow leaders to craft a statewide technology roadmap and policy recommendations.

Provided technical support and assistance in the development of community-based public computer centers serving youth, families and adults; developed / designed curriculum for computer-based activities and programs and recommended outreach strategies; designed and facilitated train-the-trainer workshop for computer and technology educators.
