Leaf is an independent nonprofit that supports exceptional teenagers to explore how they can best save lives, help others, or change the course of history. We select some of the most talented and altruistic teenagers to help them make rational decisions and choose the most high-impact options for their careers. At Leaf, I • Managed residential programs for exceptionally altruistic students. • Systemized event planning, budgeting, and outreach strategy. • Led mental health group sessions based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Employed a weighted-factor model to make good decisions and systemize project management from the idea level to implementation.

Objects & Knowledge Lab at the Center for Brain & Health is led by Dr. Olivia Cheung and focuses on perception, cognition, and social psychology. As a Researcher, I co-authored a peer-reviewed paper "Predicting election outcome: Effects of masculinity vs. femininity on competence judgments of politician faces" together with Dr. Cheung. I designed and ran 8 experiments and analyzed the data of 1,500 participants. I worked on literature reviews, methodology, neural & behavioral data analysis, and presented on 2 international conferences in Miami, USA, and Brussels, Belgium. I was characterized as one of the most efficient researchers the principal investigator has ever worked with.
