My journey in the professional world has taught me that there are two constants. The first being that change is inevitable. I have held a myriad of different positions ranging from the service industry as a vendor, to an intern at an academic institution, and now as a Compliance Specialist assisting with staffing for a fortune 500 company. In each of these roles, I garnered new skills, and entrusted with more responsibility morphing me each time into a new ,and improved version of myself through a "baptism by fire". The constant force of change is ever presentThe second constant in the professional world is "attitude". As stated before change is inevitable, so there are always an endless number of factors bombarding, and affecting your attitude. Can be as simple as the coffee machine not working causing you to have a lack of energy to an escalation from a job site that you are managing that has to be addressed immediately. What I am most proud of is my ability to either understand, accept , and or control these two constants. I see each day as a new opportunity to play a part in the change that happens in my life by controlling my attitude and outlook, and accepting of the outcomes. With this mindset I have been able to take on new tasks with an open mind to criticism and the willingness to evolve to meet the needs of the client.
