During this time he has touched many different corners of the music business.Most notably, these include extensive experience with sync licensing, mechanical licensing, sample licensing, performing rights organizations, copyright, music supervision, A&R, contract negotiation, drafting agreements, publishing agreements, administration agreements, creative pitching, and catalog marketing.Working for 100s of songwriters and artists has ingrained an artist-first instinct and a reverence for the creative process. Interfacing with 100s of licensing clients has instilled a results-oriented mentality to always drive toward an agreeable outcome for all.In addition to the core tasks that guide his day to day, David has also learned an immense amount from working cross-functionally with other departments encompassing business affairs, legal, and finance. Operating in tandem with these vital parts of the business, he works tirelessly toward streamlined processes and greater productivity.Finally, outside of his 9 to 5, David has taken on additional contract work, putting to use the skills of music clearance, budget management, and music licensing consulting services with other clients.
