Hi, I'm Davud.You can call me David, Daveed, Dawud, Da'ud, Dave, or whatever permutation of my name that may suit your linguistic background.This is the section of my profile where I'm supposed to give an unnecessarily detailed and over-exaggerated account of my experience, work ethic and skills.Instead, I just wish to give you an honest account of myself, and how I may fit into your business' grand strategy.The long and short of it is, I just like computers. It wasn't some life-changing event or grand revelation that made me interested in the field, but rather my childhood of toying with whatever discarded electronic components I could find lying around the house. Eventually, I developed an overarching interest in computers, as I slowly gathered experience through various pet projects and making assorted utility software for myself, from a pretty extensive economic simulation as a tool to better understand microeconomics to a game engine, which I'm still actively working on.I've dabbled with near every programming language under the sun, from more esoteric ones such as FORTRAN and Haskell, to common ones such as Python, Java, C/C++, and JavaScript. I have a plethora experience with the ARM and x86 assembly languages too.Regarding C++, I've worked with UI libraries such as Qt and GTK. Alongside this, I've worked extensively with graphics APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan.Regarding Java, most of my experience lies with the Android SDK, as well as Spring.Regarding Python, I've worked quite a bit with numpy and OpenCV for the aforementioned economic simulation.Regarding web development, I've only worked with React.js for a few website projects' frontends, but most of my experience lies in the backend, with a decent chunk of experience with Remix.js, Express.js and GraphQL.Most of my experience lies in personal projects, but I have some professional experience as well.
