I currently purchase all raw materials for our manufacturing facility as well as MRO, equipment and everything else that is required at the facility. My primary job is to develop relationships with suppliers that help us make high-quality products and do not slow or halt production. I track, forecast, buy and set up structured products for our natural gas consumption. Approvals for all expenditures are processed through my office. I maintain the contracts, terms and conditions, vendor evaluations and all other vendor relations. It is a very demanding and rewarding position that changes each and every day.

As assistant manager, I was in charge of all MRO purchase, storeroom replenishments, and all non-raw-material purchase. I tracked, provided forcasts and purchased our natural gas usage of 20 - 50 thousand MBTU's per month including long term strips and cost structures. I tracked all outgoing orders and ensured timely delivery. I worked with vendors to standardize parts and simplify the processes, ensuring fair and honest competition.

As purchasing manager, I managed and purchased all materials and services on a "per-job" basis. I created and developed purchasing procedures as well as cost structures from the various suppliers. I also arranged logistics for each site.Estimating the exterior wall systems was the secondary part of my position. Identifying projects we were qualified for, reaching out to architects and builders as well as providing pricing for our portion of the project. Maintaining and developing relationships with vendors and customers helped increase business and lower costs.

As the supply chain manager, I managed inventory, logistics, forecasting, manufacturer support, vendor relations and all other purchasing functions. As the wholesale director, I supervised all new and existing sales, customer development and margin growth.
