Informatique Associés Afrique (IAA) is an IT engineering services company established in Dakar in 2000, which provides innovative solutions to clients in 30 countries. As the owner, manager and experienced engineer of the company, I play several key roles.As a leader of the company, I am responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive its growth and progress. As a senior sales engineer, consultant and business analyst, I support our customers and prospects in their technology choices, providing expertise to help them achieve their goals.As an experienced engineer, I work closely with my technical colleagues to assist, supervise and train them in the various missions and challenges entrusted to us by our clients. With a passion for IT for three decades, I am often involved in the technical aspects of projects. My role is also to ensure that the quality, rigour and availability of our corporate culture are always applied by the teams.IAA has a strong background in the insurance industry. We have developed an integrated management brokerage software (ERP) for a multinational insurance brokerage company, allowing to support similar but different business needs between the countries of the CIMA region, as well as the insurance processes in Europe. As project manager and lead developer, I am responsible for the development of this software, which combines a multitude of languages, frameworks and technologies: C#, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SQL Server, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, Telerik Kendo, Telerik Reporting, TypeScript, Sass and an internal development framework. This software has been in production since 2015, and we maintain and evolve it every year to adapt to changing technologies and new challenges in the insurance industry.

Missions as Network & Computer Systemes Administrator:• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and replace defective components• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks using master consoles, and coordinate computer network access and use• Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records• Ensure equipment operation by following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment, and techniquesMissions as Software developer:• Confirm project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with analysts, supervisors, and clients• Organize project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic• Encode project requirements by converting workflow information into computer language• Verify program operation by conducting tests and modifying program sequence and/or code• Prepare a reference for users by writing operating instructions• Maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions• Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

Missions as Analyst/Programmer• Perform various tasks associated with application programming• Develop skills in the design and maintenance of database resources as well as managing various tasks related to database management• Perform the full range of tasks related to application analysis, design, and programming functionsMissions as IT Technician• Troubleshooting network operating systems, software, and hardware• Perform a wide variety of general computer maintenance, repairs, and services• Schedule and complete the "Preventive Maintenance Program"• Demonstrate an aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking• Able to work independently and in a team environment• Being familiar with network operating system, software, and hardware
