In my position as intermediate research analyst with the Regional and Community Analysis team I assist with data organization and collection for the Survey of Community College Outcomes along with additional large data sets related to higher education and workforce. The primary focus of this position is the Richmond Fed's Community College Initiative where I produce statistical analysis, interpretation and data visualizations for the new metric to measure success among community college students.

As a Research Assistant at the Virginia Center for Housing Research, I focus on conducting preliminary analysis for a statewide energy burden study using Census PUMS data and HUD CHAS data. My primary tool for data analysis is R, which I utilize to dissect and interpret complex datasets.My role involves comprehensive write-ups of key findings related to various housing and energy metrics. These include building type, energy costs, energy burden, year built, Area Median Income (AMI), and other relevant factors. My work contributes to a deeper understanding of energy burden disparities across different demographics and housing types, aiding in the development of data-driven policies and solutions.
