Paddle for the Planet was a movement to create environmental awareness and action among the global paddling community and fraternity. The focus was to engage every paddler worldwide - in every paddling craft - towards conservation of our oceans and waterways.The Paddle for the Planet movement was founded in Dubai in 2010. Building on the foundation set by Series organisers from 2007 my immediate goal was to establish the World Surfski Series as an independent brand that owns the World Surfski Series name and brand; the World Surfski Rankings and the World Series Calender.
