This was a full-time summer position. I fulfilled the Assistant Director role for iD Tech Camps at the North Carolina State University location.Administrative duties include assisting with location set-up, tear-down and product inventory/assessment, planning and executing an organized check-in each session, planning, organizing, and participating in indoor and outdoor activities for students, and maintaining positive staff and student morale.Supervisory duties include ensuring that staff and students are meeting curriculum goals, applying behavior management techniques to enforce rules and safety regulations, and ensuring appropriate supervision ratios are maintained.Health, Safety and First Aid duties include supervising all students and maintain a safe environment, executing an organized camper medication check-in and check-out each week, administering all camper medications with 100% accuracy, maintaining accurate, up to date medications and health log, responding to and documenting critical incidents, and performing CPR and FIRST AID.

Developing and delivering quality, hands-on, engaging math curriculum for students who were inpatients in a hospital environment in grades 6-12.Designing and implementing professional development opportunities for fellow educators. Developing and implementing new STEM programming for participants to allow them to engage in real world problem solving.

Performing Team Lead duties for middle and high school students learning engineering concepts through hands-on experiences provided by College of Engineering students and professors. Development of real world challenges for participants, and implementing new engineer design challenges to the program.

Designed engaging hands-on activities based off of real world challenges involving Science, Technology Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.Designed and implemented engaging, hands-on 7th and 8th grade mathematics instruction.Developed and implemented professional development for fellow educators.I worked on a team to implement a technology grant into the school. This involved planning, researching and developing strategies that would ensure teacher and student success with the new technology that was awarded to the school.
