For the past 20+ years, I’ve advanced through increasingly responsible roles for a designer/manufacturer of electro-mechanical controls serving the utility vehicle market. I started my career as a Buyer, moved up to Supply Chain Manager, then Operations Manager, and currently I serve as the VP of Operations. I consistently deliver significant results in both profitability and growth.I attribute my successes to three primary strengths:Problem Solving: I’m a fixer and an improver. I thrive when solving challenges such as how to boost productivity, resolve bottlenecks, and reduce costs. I am very good at analyzing and enhancing operations; furthermore, I know how to create systems and processes that position the company for growth.Team Leadership: Team members trust me. They see my dedication, respond to my feedback, and follow my lead to deliver peak performance. During the staffing challenges of 2020, I concurrently assumed the role of Production Manager and overhauled the production team of 12. This team that I built essentially from scratch has been delivering record-breaking revenue ever since. Entrepreneurial Mindset: This is my bent. I see opportunities, make decisions, learn from setbacks, and accept responsibility for outcomes. Moreover, I model and encourage this for my colleagues and staff, which leads to a highly productive ownership mentality.
