This position grows and diversifies sources of capital to ensure adequate programmatic and operational funding in support of the growing demand for SCCLF financing and services; responsible for capitalizing SCCLF’s revolving loan fund through investments, grants, co-lending opportunities, and other mechanisms as appropriate; ensures adequate operating support for SCCLF through grants, sponsorships and other sources; and responsible for cultivating individuals, foundations, state and federal government sources, financial institutions, quasi-governmental agencies, and others sources as identified. Directly responsible for the management and growth of planned giving program; acquire and remain knowledgeable of the principal aspects of financial instruments related to planned gifts; identify and cultivate potential donors in close cooperation with the Executive Director and Director of Development; create regular mailings to targeted donor base; plan and conduct events hosted in ETV studios and other locations throughout the state with ETV personalities; relationship-building calls and… Show more Directly responsible for the management and growth of planned giving program; acquire and remain knowledgeable of the principal aspects of financial instruments related to planned gifts; identify and cultivate potential donors in close cooperation with the Executive Director and Director of Development; create regular mailings to targeted donor base; plan and conduct events hosted in ETV studios and other locations throughout the state with ETV personalities; relationship-building calls and personal visits with potential planned giving donors; acquire an understanding of the various types of planned gifts; keep informed of legislative or IRS mandates that can affect donor decisions related to planned giving; maintain the Legacy Society and actively engage, interact and expand relationships with members of this group; evaluate strategies annually and participate in organizations strategic planning to meet long-range goals; assist in preparation of budget and monitor expenses against approved budget; maintain well-documented records for individual donor interaction; maintain current record of expectancies (reported planned gifts); collaborate with ETV and ETV Radio associates on the design and dissemination of published or on-air planned giving material; ensure that TV and radio broadcast interstitials are up to date and fresh; record planned giving informational spots for both TV and radio; ensure that all printed materials (Scene magazine, Endowment website, gift planning guide) are up to date and accurate; assist Endowment and ETV staff in hosting ETV sponsored events as needed; represent Endowment at various community events.
