Education Engagement & Satellite Club Officer
To contribute to the outcomes of Active Essex’s strategic plan, ECC outcomes, Sport England’s core service and the wider partnership requirements of the CSP by leading on the commissioning and development of projects relating to sport, school sport and physical activity in Greater Essex.• Engage with all identified educational organisations (including School Sport partnerships and Teaching Groups) through relevant delivery networks across Essex to advocate and champion sport and physical activity.• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Educational Organisations, local authorities, Active Networks, NGB’s, Clubs, Coaches and other key partners to improve the provision and opportunities for sport and physical activity in these areas. • Lead in commissioning, development, implementation and monitoring of key educational, physical activity and health & well-being projects.• Develop and design appropriate delivery plans including budget management relating to projects suitable for school sport and physical activity in Greater Essex. • To take the lead in commissioning, further development and implementation of schools related elements which could include: Women & Girls, Disability, Early Years and Health interventions, managing relationships with relevant partners and providers• To ensure effective collection, monitoring and evaluation of reports and statistical data for Active Essex and Sport England• To offer guidance and support to all Active Networks, clubs, schools, colleges, NGBs and other providers on this initiative and other Active Essex projects, including the Primary School Sport Premium initiative.• To manage and deliver the CSP local delivery of Sport England’s Satellite Club Programme• Direct liaison with Schools, NGB’s and Community clubs to ensure a high level of needs led delivery • Mange budgets and reporting systems as required through CSP and Sport England systems
