Consolidation of worldwide branch and subsidiary office management accounts incorporating UK Branch Accountant role responsible for team of disbursement analysts.

Preparation and consolidation of group financial and management accounts, Corporation Tax computations. Retain divisional accountant role for two non-shipping divisions.

Consolidation of group company plans and forecasts. Preparation of plan and forecast balance sheets and cash flow projections. Providing guidance to and supporting the UK Retail regional offices on all aspects of the budget process.

Progressing implementation of new accounting and technical procedures to meet the requirements set out in a new International Accounting Standard. Principle tasks were the design and implementation of a reliable time recording system together with associated reporting facilities to feedback Management Information. Ongoing evaluation of various initiatives. Ongoing co-ordination and development of the system.

Production of detailed divisional Management Accounts, forecasts and budgets, reporting on performance to the WCGS Board quarterly. This role encompassed capital expenditure reporting, preparation of the phased forecast balance sheet and regular expense analysis.

Principle duties revolved around maintenance and control of the Fixed Asset Register with related reporting around the ‘group’.

Maintained the cash books of Willis Faber PLC and Willis Faber Management Services Ltd including reconciliation to General Ledger and Bank Statement and related reporting. Additional responsibilities related to reporting performance of the Treasury Function.
