Executive Director
CurrentLead the federally-designated statewide domestic violence coalition for the District of Columbia by developing infrastructures that are member and survivor-driven and implemented through an anti-oppression and anti-racist framework. As a leader I utilize a shared-power management style to ensure team members have the opportunity for growth, recognition, and the space to lean into their creativity. I have the experience of testifying at local and national legislative hearings and briefings, being interviewed by local and national media outlets, and training at local and national conferences. A particular pride point while in this role is having developed a Survivor Advisory Board for DCCADV's work so that the voice of survivors are centered, utilized, and uplifted in creating policy and systems change.
