Assisting those taking part in Work Programme to get back into employment using a variety of diagnostic and training skills to tackle complex barriers to employment.

Working within Jobcentreplus to interview claimants and assist in the journey towards employment through welfare to work programmes. Specialising in harder to help claimant groups with multiple barriers which required a wide range of interviewing and diagnostic skills, whilst maintaining responsibility for assessing ongoing entitlement to benefit.

To take responsibility for the financial administration of the branch across income, expenditure and trust budgets. Monitoring and projection of income and spend and participating in planning for future years and corporate plans. Creation and development of the Private Tours income stream and sales of this product which were increasing over 300% in 3 years.

I worked in a small Concept Store for Asda, which made me responsible with one other person for the day to day running and management of the Customer Service Department. • Day to day line management and rota planning of colleagues for the Checkouts, Customer Service Desk, Kiosk, Greeter, Petrol Station and the Cash Office. • Recruitment, and training of all staff• Dealing with Pay and Leave queries, managing absence, appraisal and health and safety documentation with all departmental staff.• Handling customer Comments and Complaints face to face, over the Phone and in Writing and resolving these in a mutually satisfactory manner. • To act as an internal auditor in all areas of cash-handling, banking and collection. I also had to investigate cash and stock overages and losses through the store accounting system and reports, and manage the related budgets and projections. • I was also required to act as part of the Duty management team at least twice a week and act as the duty manager for the banking of receipts and closing of the store.
