As a policy analyst at the Government of Alberta, I contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and programs that address social issues and improve the lives of Albertans. I apply my knowledge and skills in policy interpretation, legislation, compliance, and governance, as well as my attention to detail and ability to build business relationships with various stakeholders.My background is in mental health, where I have worked in different settings and roles, such as acute care, infirmary, long term rehabilitation, psycho/geriatrics, youth and sex offenders, and maximum security forensic for a psychiatric facility. I have also served as the attending aide for the ECT suite, the admissions staff, and the case manager. I have experience in management, high level customer service, and inside sales. I thrive in high stress, fast paced environments, and I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in my community.
