Jeffco School Board Candidate, District 3Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado Jul 2023 - Aug 2023I want to thank everyone who has supported me and my candidacy for Jeffco School Board. The last few weeks have really shined a light on the amazing and supportive community we have built over the years while fighting for and supporting our students, educators, and public schools. I am proud to be a part of this community and the fight for safe, inclusive, equitable, strong, and thriving public schools is more important than ever. While I was hoping to use my skills and experience as a member of the Jeffco school board, I am withdrawing my candidacy because I deeply care about Jeffco Public Schools. A three-person race risks the election of someone who doesn’t support public education at all, and I care too much about our schools to risk that outcome. I will continue fighting alongside you for our students, educators, and public schools as I have been doing for nearly a decade. I am grateful for our community — old friends and new — this work is so important and much bigger than me! -
