I am working full-time as a controls engineer with Commonwealth Fusion Systems in MA. I am very excited to be working with a company creating solutions to help lessen climate change!I am enthusiast about environmental sustainability and love this opportunity to work creating innovations for such. I love being challenged by learning more. I've taken Java, Python, web development, and app development classes for enjoyment. I am a very quick learner.I am very driven individual, both in my desire to see the outdoors and in work. I graduated Widener University with a 3.74 GPA, was awarded the Best Senior Electrical Engineer Award for my class, and the Best Oral Senior Project Award. Beyond school, in the 2 years I worked at Hutchinson Sealing Systems, I learned to program Siemens TIA Portal, Motoman Robots, Adept Robots, Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000, and FANUC Robots. After a year, I became the primary electrical engineer for my plant’s automation team. I programmed the controls for four work cells, along with building their safety circuits, and programming eight FANUC robots from scratch. I have a passion as an engineer to make people's lives easier. Beyond Hutchinson, I worked as a Manufacturing Controls Engineer at the FDA regulated Abbott Diagnostics in their molecular products division. The work at Abbott allowed me to understand that I loved design and implementation work most.
