About Dawn Langdon

Dawn Langdon is an established international expert on cognition in multiple sclerosis (MS). She is Co-Chair of the Brief International Cognitive Assessment in MS (www.bicams.net), a cognitive tool being validated around the world (26 published national validations so far) and recommended by the AAN. There are a further 200 published studies using BICAMS to investigate MS cognition. She has been neuropsychology lead on a number of major international trials. Her current research interests are measurement of cognition in MS and its relation to other disease parameters.She is on the steering group of the International MS Cognition Society (www.imscogs.com) and the IMSCOGS/ECTRIMS MS cognition guidelines initiative. She is a Trustee of the UK MS Trust (www.mstrust.org.uk) and is the author of their online cognition tool for people with MS (www.stayingsmart.org). With Carolyn Young, she has recently written an MS cognition clinic handbook which is free to download (https://www.karger.com/Book/Home/283406), She is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and is an Honorary Professor in the Preventative Neurology Unit within the Wolfson Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
