Ensure that packaging company followed the Release and that parts were repacked promptly and correctly. Kept track of all in house inventories and accurately charted and logged quality issues to BSN/Shortage tickets. Back up for LE Graz Scheduler.Results: I was able to keep an eye on the quality aspect of production part that were to be shipped to Austria and by doing this it cut down on 99% of all shipping issues, including short shipping, shipping the wrong part, damaged parts and was able to provide a large cost savings to the company by doing so. It also ensured on time shipping and that if there were any issues it was caught before going out the door.

Production Inventory ClerkCollins & Aikmans Jan 2004 - Jan 2005Provided daily inventory counts on consigned parts, purchased parts, WIP and finished goods. Helped Production and Shipping in verification of shipments, labeling shipments, staging loads and gathering production parts for expedites and spot buys. Container management for Chrysler.Results: By keeping a close eye on the inventory, it helped the schedulers in regards to scheduling production for the Honda line and I was able to inform them of any issues before they became a problem. I was able to help with the LE Graz (Austria shipments) at the main plant to prevent issues at our end and brought to realization to the managers that the issues were mainly due to a 3rd party packaging company, who would bring the items to a warehouse to be placed in cardboard. Many parts were being mislabeled, or even damaged in the process of repackaging.

I scheduling MRP dates for family parts and assigned employee numbers into CMS (Canadian Manufacturing System).I was moved to day shift and performed numerous duties including EDI, manually balancing Accums and roll backs, and entered Releases and Pullsheets for the Production Department. Performed other duties such as repetitive Work Orders and working with various queries, even wrote numerous queries within the CMS system to pull required information to complete day to day tasks. I was also asked by IT to help enter data and setup modules in CMS for the Maintenance department.I also helped Accounting with printing and mailing Invoices, filing the Bills of Lading, adjusting Invoices and Credits accordingly and matching Premium Freight Authorizations to the Invoices. Other duties such as entering freight and matching cheques to the Invoices and mailing the cheques out. I arranged trucks or brokerages for expedites and made necessary arrangements with couriers for shipments. I also tracked down shipments for payment. I also helped Purchasing with logging and charting data for Purchasing Steel and assisted with the filing.I also relieved the Receptionist, which included such duties as answering and directing calls on the Meridian phone system and booked meeting rooms.I was also the Freight Discrepancy Investigator, I investigated the Root Cause of all freight discrepancies that were shipping related and logged them 8D investigations to find the Root Cause based on my research.I also implemented the recycling program for all 4 plants and a US warehouse. I also dealt with the scrap metal and verified invoices and logged all data,by plant, to ensure we were properly paid and how much excess there really was.
