I am an experienced RCCP/AHCS registered band 7 physiologist with 22 years experience across 4 trusts. Currently co-leading an expanding service, developing a team of trainee physiologists, acting as work based assessor and quality assurance lead.Having managed the service expansion for 7 years including opening our community diagnostic center at Purley War Memorial I have now handed operational management to our new band 7 and focusing on quality assurance and embedding best practices.Alongside the pulmonary function work we provide oximetry+actigraphy for both outpatients suspected of OSAHs and inpatients being investigated and treated for T2RF who will then be under the care of Lane Fox. PAT studies commenced earlier this year after a successful trial and we will launch respiratory polygraphy in the new year.Currently I hold a role with NSHCS as Assessment Material Writer as well as collaborating with paediatric lead nurses at CHS in the planning of new asthma services for 5 -18 year olds. Previously I have sat on multiple panels related to post-COVID19 assessment demand, PCT spirometry restart, the SWL creation of CDC and spokes.
