• Investigate allegations of attorney misconduct; draft investigation report; interview witnesses.• Draft pleadings/motions filed before the Disciplinary Boards and the Supreme Court and legal research.• Testify at hearings regarding investigation and forensic accounting of trust accounts.• Assist with formal hearing preparation, including obtaining and compiling certified documents, trial notebooks, witness preparation, organizing evidence for hearings, research possible sanctions, etc.• Monitoring the status and progress for any attorneys convicted of crimes; investigate the same and draft the subsequent pleadings.• Forensic review of Trust account and reconciliations.• Responsible for training paralegal/investigators.Past Duties included:• Primary paralegal support to Bar Counsel in researching and drafting Disciplinary Rules of Procedure, ADKT’s, substantive memoranda to the Board of Governors and Executive Director. • Assisted in the preparation of the new case management system (JustWare) for the Office of Bar Counsel, including building and customizing the system, ensuring accurate transfer of data from old database, and training all staff. • Liaison to the Ethics Professional Responsibility Committee and publishing ethics opinions in Nevada Lawyer. • Bar Counsel Report for Nevada Lawyer.• Supervised all the paralegal/investigators in the Las Vegas and Reno offices, until creation of Legal Administrator position in August 2014.
