My primary job is teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) content areas to fifth graders from several surrounding counties, using lots of hands-on experiments for student engagement. I also help coordinate volunteers to come into our classrooms as career guides. When our curriculum was revamped several years ago, I read through all the new lessons and created a new schedule that would work with our 25 hour program. For some of our summer academies, I have helped to the develop curriculum and scheduling that was used. STARBASE Robins has hosted FIRST Lego Leagues tournaments for the past eight years. I have helped to plan and coordinate many aspects of these events, but mainly recruiting and training judges.

Third grade teacher

I was a Kindergarten paraprofessional for one year at Centerville Elementary. The next year I was a third grade remedial paraprofessional half day at Miller Elementary and half day at Parkwood Elementary.
